Gwen Cooper is the New York Times bestselling, traditionally- and self-published author of numerous books for cat lovers, with more than 1,, copies of her books in print in some two-dozen languages around the world.

The tour visited 20 no-kill shelters in cities including Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Kansas City, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and Miami. The tour was underwritten by Arm & Hammer Ultra-last Clumping Cat Litter and Litter Genie, who—along with several national cat-food brands—made product donations to each of the shelters visited on the tour.
